DAVID J. GYNN is a sculptor and carver of stone, a craft that he has been perfecting for most of his adult life. These skills enable him to undertake commissions that are unique to him. Whether carving and lettering a traditional memorial stone in Granite or Slate, making precise dimensional pieces for Architecture (indoors and outdoors), producing commemorative plaques for any occasion (we have done Royal openings), or creating a sundial...that works!.
David has based his workshop in LAUNCESTON on the boundary between Cornwall and Devon, close to his favoured quarries of Silver-grey Cornish Granite and Delabole Slate. He has, however, over many years, established contacts that can supply stone from all over Britain and around the world.
